About mARK BRUNETZ

Since the establishment of Mark Brunetz Interior Design in 2000, the name has become synonymous with a harmonious blend of luxury, beauty, and everyday approachability. Residing in the Los Angeles area, Mark's design philosophy speaks to a global audience with a career punctuated by high profile clients, a hit TV series, a well-received book, a sought-after furnishings collection, and numerous media features. For over two decades, Mark has continued to shape the design world in unique and impactful ways.

Central to Mark's work is a profound belief: design, at its best, uplifts the human spirit. This ethos drives him to craft interiors that do more than serve a functional purpose; they resonate with the soul. It's no wonder that those who experience his spaces often feel an emotional connection, seeing their surroundings not just as places to live but personal sanctuaries to relish. Designing for discerning individuals, companies and communities, Mark views every space as a unified canvas, an opportunity to create a cohesive, integrated lifestyle experience. Forgoing a signature look in favor of a more holistic approach, his work is about transcending boundaries and merging integrity of purpose with an aesthetic that reflects a wide variety of interior design styles.

Mark also brings a wealth of global inspiration to his design work, drawing from his extensive travels across more than 30 countries. His designs are infused with a rich tapestry of cultural influences, bolstered by collaborations with top-tier artisans from around the world. This broad cultural perspective and commitment to quality have solidified his status as a leading choice for residential and commercial design projects throughout Southern California.

Mark has been appeared in over 300 episodes of various makeover TV shows, most notably during his nine-season run as co-host on "Clean House" in addition to "Clean House: The Messiest Home in the Country” for which he garnered an Emmy award and “Clean House Comes Clean" for which he also served as consulting producer. His work has gained attention from a broad spectrum of major media outlets, including Elle Decor, The New York Times, People Magazine, and Good Morning America, in addition to a project featured during Modernism Week in Palm Springs—to name a few. Additionally, Mark co-authored "Take the U Out of Clutter" with Penguin Random House and launched a line of price-conscious home furnishings on HSN under Mark Brunetz Home.

Alongside his professional achievements, Mark is dedicated to social change, harnessing the transformative power of hands-on design. His commitment is exemplified with pro bono projects like the renovations of Step Up On Vine which provides permanent community-based housing for homeless individuals in Los Angeles, and the corporate offices of THE BIG ISSUE, which supports homeless, marginalized and unemployed people in Capetown, South Africa. Additionally, Mark is the founder of Design For A Difference, a grassroots initiative that has rejuvenated over 200 spaces at charities across America delivering makeovers valued at over $8 million and counting.
